Kata Tjuta, at your own pace

About 40 kilometres west of Uluru, Kata Tjuta rises from the desert as a cluster of thirty-six red sandstone domes weathered over hundreds of millions of years. The name means many heads, and standing among them it is easy to see why. Together with Uluru, these are the two great landmarks of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and the domes are a deeply significant place for the Anangu, the Traditional Owners of this Country.

This is a private guided day shaped entirely around you. Begin in the hush of first light or stay for the last of the sun, when the domes glow deep red and the desert cools around you. Based on your fitness levels and the time of year - choose between the Walpa Gorge walk an easy 2 km hike to a waterhole between 2 massive domes or the Valley of the winds, a 7 km hike through and around the base of Kata Tjuta domes and viewing spots.
