Three days across the heart of the Red Centre
Our most complete journey into the Australian outback, this package draws together the three great landmarks of Central Australia in one unhurried trip. Over three nights you take in Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon, each one strikingly different, with airport transfers, three private tours led by one of the region's most experienced guides, and two of the desert's signature evenings: the Field of Light and the Sound of Silence dinner.
You stay three nights at Ayers Rock Resort, which keeps the time between tours easy and comfortable. There are restaurants to choose from, an art gallery to wander, and daily bush craft and native food demonstrations in the town square. The hottest hours in the middle of the day are left open, so you can rest, swim or explore the resort at your own pace. Everything is flexible, and we can weave in extra experiences for a deeper look at the region. You also have the rare option to be guided alongside an Anangu person from the local community, sharing in stories told first-hand.
Your travel consultant builds the package around your dates, group and pace, usually back to you within the hour.

How the days run
Every package is tailored, so treat this as the shape, not the script.
- Day One · Arrive and settle into the outback
Complimentary group transfers between the airport and Ayers Rock Resort are arranged for you on arrival. There is time to check in, catch your breath and let the scale and quiet of the desert settle around you before the touring begins.
- Day One · Field of Light after sunset
As the light fades you head out to the Field of Light, Bruce Munro's vast installation of glowing stems that spreads across the desert floor. It is paired with dinner under the open sky, an easy and memorable first evening.
- Uluru · Private guided tour
You meet your guide for a private tour around the base of Uluru, taking in the waterholes, caves and the play of colour across the rock through the day. Along the way your guide shares the Anangu stories connected to these places, with permission and care.
- Day Two · Kings Canyon
A scenic drive across the rust-red plains brings you to Kings Canyon, roughly three hours each way. The Rim Walk climbs to the top and opens onto sheer sandstone walls, weathered dome boulders and a hidden pocket of greenery known as the Garden of Eden. Shorter options are available if you prefer a gentler pace.
- Day Three · Kata Tjuta, the Olgas
A landscape of enormous rounded domes divided by narrow, shaded gorges. You walk the Valley of the Winds, taking in the raw scale of the place at a pace and distance that suits your group's fitness.
